18 September 2006: Sarah Ochieng, Director, SkyData is elected Secretary to the Information Technology Gold Coast (formerly Gold Coast Region IT Forum).

22 August 2006: SkyData becomes a Business Development Partner of Bond Wireless. SkyData will distribute and resell Bond Wireless products across several countries in Africa.

11 August 2006: The Australian IT Screen Goddess 2006-2007 calendar featuring Sarah Ochieng, Director, SkyData, is officially launched at Warner Brothers Movie World, Gold Coast. The proceeds from the sales of the calendar will go towards assisting non profit groups that run initiatives to encourage females to take up technology studies and enter technology careers.

15 May 2006: SkyData becomes a CaraData Business Development partner for Africa.
