Sexual Health Information Program (SHIP)
SHIP was developed as a solution to the ever-increasing number and complexity of managing patients with communicable diseases. SHIP brings with it support for a number of servers making SHIP an extremly powerful software application. Currently SHIP is in use in clinics throughout Australia, Asia, UK and the Caribbean.

SHIP is a software package developed by Caradata (Australia). It satisfies the needs of the communicable disease clinics at both the top and bottom end of the Health market. SHIP includes the ability to interact with additional applications such as a variety of pathology and medical information systems, appointment scheduling modules and secure SMS technology to allow cheaper and more effective patient recall. SHIP address's the ever-increasing duty of care issues faced by the medical industry. Duty of Care is a big responsibility for the doctors and clinicians. SHIP Web will allow duty of care to be proven via audit trails for all communications (letters, email, SMS messages and so on) between doctors, clinics and patients. In addition to duty of care issues, the SHIP program further assists in addressing the move by many governments for corporate governance and minimum datasets (minimum reporting requirements required by law in real time), Occupational Health and Safety requirements (patient and clinicial safety - audit trails and ability to access on-line procedures/changes in real time) and effective and more secure reporting requirements.

Demonstrations and user manual is available free on request.
